A stylish Victorian scent bottle with integral vinaigrette by Morden & Co.
The glass bottle has a silver top with a rounded end which opens by twisting and pushing down the stopper.
The inside of the rounded top is stamped Morden & Co and has its original gilt finish. The 'flat' end has a hidden silver gilt vinaigrette allowing the user to discreetly smell something sweet.
The vinaigrette is hinged allowing a sweet scented cloth to be inserted.
The bottle is in beautiful condition. A real collectors piece.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: 7.6cm in height, 2.8cm at the widest point.
Hallmarks: Stamped Morden & Co - tests as silver (gilt to interior)
