An elegant Victorian pearl & diamond swag necklace.
This beautifully feminine necklace has pearls strung within a series of silver and gold rose cut diamond set sections. The necklace has a diamond clasp comprising an old cut diamond in a cut down silver and gold setting typical of the era.
The clasp has a diamond tongue fitting with integral thumb piece. All the diamonds are in a silver cut down setting onto a gold back.
The pearls are an ivory colour and have a beautiful lustre.
Era: Victorian, 1837 - 1901
Measurements: Total diamond weight estimated 1.70 carats
Pearls 6-9mm diameter untested assumed cultured
Necklace 48cm in length
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests silver and gold
