A beautiful Victorian oval locket set with a pearl and lapis flower design.
The locket has a glazed compartment to the reverse and is engraved with initials to the lower edge (W.S.F.). The locket is 18ct yellow gold with a matt finish and the seed pearls and lapis are in beautiful conditon. The compartment is perfect for a photograph.
There is a large tapered bail to the top allowing for the locket to be hung from a ribbon or heavy chain if necessary.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Locket 3.4cm long, 2.7cm wide , bail 1.1cm long.
The locket is 9.9 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as 18ct gold
