A stylish large Victorian heart locket.
The rose gold heart is engraved with foliate and scrolling motifs to the front with a plain polished reverse. The heart is hinged and opens to reveal a locket compartment on both sides.
The locket is suspended from a belcher link chain with a bolt ring clasp.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Heart 3.5cm (1.4”) in length, 2.6cm (1”) at widest point

Hallmarks: Locket with partial hallmarks for Birmingham 9ct,
PPL makers mark to reverse of locket.
