A fabulous cabochon garnet jocket cap pin.
This lovely pin has a cabochon garnet set as a stylised jockey cap with a small rose cut diamond to the top and a ropetwist gold 'braid' detail with a knotted bow to the front. The garnet is a beautiful red in colour.
The cap is mounted onto a long heavy weight metal pin with a twisted section typical of the era. It would look great on a tie or jacket lapel.
