An unusual late Victorian garnet and diamond cluster ring.
The ring with a cushion shaped warm red garnet surrounded with a border of small diamonds in a classic cluster design. The diamonds are in a silver setting within a yellow gold fine openwork bezel.

The ring has a plain shank and is in fabulous condition. This ring could be worn on an everyday basis but with a degree of caution as the setting is silver which is a softer metal and also garnet is relatively soft gemstone.
