A fabulous antique locket ring with floral panels.
The ring has a central gold shield which is hinged revealing a locket to the underside. The locket has its original glazed compartment which is in perfect condition.
The shank of the ring is made out of a series of beautiful square Gothic floral panels each decorated with carved acanthus styled leaf motifs.
The ring is in perfect condition with its original gilding and is fully hallmarked for London 1874. It is a great example of the period which was heavily influenced by the designs of Pugin (who designed the Palace of Westminster).
We would not really recommend this ring for heavy everyday wear as it is in such fabulous original condition and is a real collectors piece.
