Victorian Emerald & Diamond Carved Half Hoop Ring c.1900
RE060
£5,000.00
A beautiful late Victorian emerald and diamond 5 stone ring.
The ring has a central mixed cut emerald with an old cut diamond to each side and a further emerald to each end. The gemstones are claw set in yellow gold with small diamond points around the diamonds within a beautiful scrollwork hand carved mount.
The emeralds are well matched and a beautiful strong green in colour.
The ring has carved shoulders onto a slightly tapered band typical of this style of design and sits low to the hand making it easy to wear.
This beautiful ring could be worn as an engagement ring as long as it isn't receiving 'heavy' wear as emeralds are a softer gemstone.
