A late Victorian star design stockpin.
This unusual Victorian brooch has an 8 pointed star beautifully set with half pearls and diamonds to the centre within a finely enamelled design. The star is mounted onto a stock style pin and has a round locket to the reverse set with plaited hair.
The star could be converted into a pendant if required.
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: The pin is 3.6cm in length; 2.0cm diameter;
The brooch weighs 4.6grams
Hallmarks: No assay marks, brooch tests as 15ct gold
