A rare Rolex Oyster Perpetual watch c.1954.
The watch with original face has a champage dial with central 'quilted' section.
Original gilt 'lance' hands with luminenscent details. Raised gilt hour markers and luminescent dots. Blackened steel sweep seconds hand. Outer black seconds track.
Rolex crown to '12'. Slight aging to dial consistent with age.
The bezel of the watch has an inner gold ring onto steel body. Slight wear to bezel at 12 and 6 consistent with the watch probably having had steel strap at some point.
Watch onto new black leather strap. Face signed ROLEX OYSTER PERPETUAL.
Automatic Rolex oyster perpetual movement fully restored and in good working order.
