A classic row of large uniform cultured (Akoya) pearls with an Art Deco sapphire and diamond cluster clasp.
The necklace comprises beautifully matched cultured pearls set with an Art Deco clasp. The clasp has an oval sapphire to the centre in a rubover setting with a milgrain edge surrounded by 10 old cut diamonds in an elegant low set cluster rub-over design.
The clasp has a hook style catch which is hidden when closed, this also acts as a safety device.
The 53 cultured pearls are fabulous quality with a slightly pinkish tinge and a wonderful lustre and uniformity.
Era: Art Deco, c.1925 - 1940

Clasp 12.5mm x 13.5mm in size (excluding end rings)
