An unusual Georgian cluster ring.
This lovely ring has a central cushion cut emerald within a border of 8 small emeralds and beadwork detailing. The ring has finely detailed openwork split shoulders onto a tapered plain band.
The ring has a locket concealed to the back and sits low to the hand typical of the Georgian era. It is in fabulous condition for a ring of this age.
This ring, in common with the vast majority of Georgian pieces is a dress ring and will not take 'heavy' wear being over 200 years old. Rings of this age and in this condition are increasingly hard to find.
