An unusual late Georgian diamond & emerald ring.

This beautiful ring has a central old cut diamond set with a small emerald to either side in a stylised 3 stone design. It is a typical Regency design and dates from c.1820.  All the stones are in a closed setting and the ring has beadwork designs to the diamond. It is closed set typical of rings of this period. The ring would probably have had an locket back orginally which is now missing.

The split design shoulders have handmade foliate carved detailing onto a beautiful reeded shank. This lovely ring is in excellent conditon and is a wonderful example of a late Georgian ring.

This ring, in common with the vast majority of Georgian pieces will not take 'heavy' wear being over 200 years old. Rings of this age and in this wonderful condition are increasingly hard to find.
