A fabulous Edwardian novelty tennis brooch.
The realistically formed real tennis racket gold head and shaft with white gold meshwork 'strings'. The shaft of the racket is set with graduated half pearls and there is a pearl 'ball' attached to the centre of the head.
The brooch has a sprung pin with a handmade safety clasp to the reverse. It is wonderful quality and in beautiful condition.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: The brooch is 5cm 2" in length, 1.5cm (0.6")
