A fabulous antique sapphire and diamond cluster ring.
This beautiful ring is set with a bright square cut sapphire to the centre within a border of 12 small old cut diamonds in a scalloped square cluster design. The sapphire is mounted in a rubover setting with a grain edge.
The head of the ring is set in silver and gold and the head of the ring has a beautiful handmade openwork underbezel.
The ring has plain shoulders with scrolled chenier details onto a plain gold band typical of the 1920's.
This lovely ring is low set and sits neatly on the hand when worn. It would make a very stylish engagement ring.
