Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond 3 Stone Ring c.1910
RS160
£3,500.00
An elegant Edwardian sapphire and diamond three stone ring.
The ring has a square cut sapphire to the centre with a square cut diamond to either side.
The gemstones are all mounted in a rubover setting with a platinum milgrain edge and a fine geometric underbezel. They are open to the reverse allowing the light into the back of the stones.
This lovely ring is very low set to the hand typical of the era and sits neatly on the hand when worn. It is perfect for everyday wear and would make a stylish engagement ring sitting neatly next to a wedding band or eternity ring.
The sapphire is a fabulous deep blue in colour and the square cut diamonds may have originally come from a much earlier piece as they are very deep stones and cut more like Georgian table cut diamonds.
