A stylish Edwardian sapphire and diamond three stone ring.
This classic design has a central oval sapphire in a fine double gold claw setting with an old cut diamond claw set to each side. The ring has a fine openwork gallery and beautiful fleur de lys design 'split' shoulders.
The ring is very low set to the hand and with a grooved detail below the shoulders typical of the early Edwardian era.
The sapphire is a wonderful rich blue in colour in keeping with the Sri Lankan gemstones of the period and this beautiful ring would be perfect for everyday wear potentially making a great engagement ring.
