An elegant Edwardian ruby and diamond 3 stone ring.

This stylish ring has an oval facetted ruby to the centre with an old cut diamond mounted to each side.

The ruby is spitch set in a diamond shaped border with the diamonds similarily set in square borders. This setting is referred to as Gypsy set and was a popular design during the late Victorian and early Edwardian eras.

The ring is a rich 18ct yellow gold with a tapered shank. The ruby is a really bright pinkish red in colour probablt originating from Sri Lanka.

It is really low set to the finger typical of the era and perfect for everyday wear.  This lovely ring would make a beautiful unique engagement ring.
