A classic Edwardian opal and diamond ring.

 

The ring has 3 well matched oval cabochon opals with a slightly larger central stone. The opals have 2 small old cut diamonds set between them in a gold triple claw setting. 

 

The ring is made in 18ct yellow gold with tapered shoulders onto a plain slightly graduated shank typical of the era.

 

The opals have a good play of fire. The setting is open to the reverse and the ring is low set to the hand.

 

Era: Edwardian, c.1901 - 1920

Measurements: Total opal weight estimated 1.0 carats

Ring size: L 1/2 (UK) 6 (US) 52 (EUR) This ring can be resized by our goldsmith but with some limitations due to the design
