An elegant pair of antique opal and diamond drop earrings.
The earrings each comprising two oval cabochon opals, accented by a trio of old and rose cut diamonds, surmounted by a further old cut diamond.
The opals are finely mounted in a rubover setting with a milgrain edge and are well matched in colour, the setting is open to the reverse. They are linked by a fine gold 'knife edge' bar with a platinum overlay to the face. They are articulated and move freely when worn.
The earrings have their original screw fittings to the top which could be converted to post and butterfly fittings for pierced ears if required.
