A stylish Edwardian diamond cross

 

The 3 barred Latin cross has a central diamond in a slightly illusion rub over setting within a  beautiful openwork cross design with small rose cut diamonds mounted to each section. The cross is finely milgrain set.

 

The reverse of the cross is a warm gold in colour typical of the Edwardian era.

 

The cross has a fluted rose cut diamond set bail allowing it to be hung from a ribbon or chain. 

 

Era: Edwardian 1901-1920

Measurements: Cross 4.8cm in length (including bail)

2.7cm at widest point.

Total diamond weight estimated 0.30 carats

Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests 18ct gold and platinum
