An elegant pair of Edwardian amethyst & pearl earrings.
These lovely earrings have a large cushion cut cut amethyst suspended from a pearl top by a short gold chain link. The amethysts are mounted in silver and gold with a fine milgrain edge and are open to the reverse. They are beautifully matched and a rich deep purple in colour.
The pearls are assumed natural saltwater typical of the early 20th Century. Each section is articulated so they move freely when worn.
The earrings have post and butterfly fitting for pierced ears.
