An elegant mid century diamond solitaire ring.
This beautiful ring has an old cut diamond finely 8 claw set within a handmade platinum coronet mount. The shoulders are set with 3 small diamonds in a platinum tapered shoulder onto a plain D shaped shank.
The ring is handmade in platinum and 18ct yellow gold and low set to the finger. It would make a wonderful engagement ring as it is perfect for everyday wear.
Era: Mid Century, c.1940 - 1960
Measurements: Old cut diamond weight estimated 0.47 carats; I colour, VS quality

Hallmarks: Stamped 18CT & PLAT with '47' stamped to one side (this may refer to diamond weight)
