Art Nouveau Turquoise Ring c.1921
£995.00
A stunning late Art Nouveau turquoise ring.
The ring featuring a large central matrix turquoise, set in an elegant 4 double claw mount on a gold band.
The ring has tapered shoulders onto a plain shank and is low set to the finger typical of the era.
The turquoise displays the characteristic matrix veining, adding to its unique charm, and is beautifully showcased within the organic, flowing lines typical of the Art Nouveau period.
We would not recommend this ring for heavy everday wear as turquoise is on the softer end of the hardness scale. It would have been originally intended as a 'dress' ring.
