A beautiful early Edwardian heart shaped locket.
This wonderful gold locket has an Art Nouveau styled pearl pansy flower applied to the top section. In the language of flowers the pansy represents love and to think of the giver taken from the French word pensée.
The locket is hinged to one side and opens to reveal two locket compartments with their original silk backing.
The locket is in beautiful condition.
Era: Art Nouveau, 1890 - 1915
Measurements: Locket 2.2cm in length (excluding runner ring),
1.9cm at widest point
5.3 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Unmarked tests 18ct gold
