Art Deco Sapphire & Diamond Tablet Ring c.1930
RS073
£0.00
A stylish Art Deco sapphire and diamond ring
This unusual ring has an emerald cut sapphire to the centre in a rub-over setting within a border of diamonds. The ring has double baguette set shoulders and is beautifully made in a fine platinum mount with inventory numbers engraved to the inside of the shank.
The ring has a geometric gallery and is low set to the hand making it perfect for everyday wear. It would make a beautiful engagement ring
The ring has a D shaped shank with a fine engraved line detailed to halfway round. We believe it is possibly French in origin having been sized down at some point in its history. French jewellery of this period often used dark sapphires like this one to contrast against the white of the diamonds and provide a very Art Deco design.
