Art Deco Emerald & Diamond Tablet Ring c.1935
£4,950.00
An elegant Art Deco emerald and diamond tablet ring.
This wonderful ring typifies the 1930's with an emerald cut emerald in a fine milgrain setting surrounded by a geometric border of diamonds in a low set 'tablet' design.
The ring sits flat on the hand and has a wonderful openwork underbezel with scrolled 'tear' shaped detailing. The ring has slightly tapered shoulders onto a plain platinum shank typical of the era.
Designed to be worn on its own as a cocktail ring, this stylish ring is a wonderful example of Art Deco craftsmanship.
The ring could be worn as an engagement ring as long as it isn't receiving 'heavy' wear as emeralds are a softer gemstone.
