Art Deco Emerald and Diamond Tablet Ring c.1935
£5,950.00
An elegant Art Deco emerald and diamond tablet ring.
This stylish French made ring has a central square cut emerald set within an old cut diamond panel in a typically Art Deco design.
The emerald is in a rubover setting with a milgrain edge and is raised slighty higher than the diamonds typical of the Art Deco era with the smaller diamonds in a square setting with raised outer borders. The ring is open to the reverse with a beautiful geometric gallery.
The ring has plain shoulders and shank and is low set to the hand despite the Art Deco design.
This elegant ring is in wonderful condition and was originally designed to be worn on its own as a cocktail ring in the stylish 1930's and 40's.
The ring could be worn as an engagement ring as long as it isn't receiving 'heavy' wear as emeralds are a softer gemstone.
