A stylish mid century amethyst 3 stone ring.
This elegant ring has 3 beautifully matched emerald cut amethysts mounted in a platinum rubover setting with small diamonds on either side of the central stone. The ring has wide slightly tapered shoulders onto a wide yellow gold band.
The amethysts are a rich purple in colour which is highlighted by the white of the diamonds.
This lovely ring is very low set to the hand. The ring is probably American in origin.
Era: Mid Century, c.1940-60
